You know the six degrees of separation thing? Well it’s true with Mike!
About me: I’m from Colorado – the best state ever!!!! I moved to Washington, DC in August 2008 to pursue my Masters Degree in Latin American Studies (concentration: Political Economy) at Georgetown University (Washington, DC). My blog is just starting, and I plan to add plenty more.
Read along with me as I experience South America this summer, first in Paraguay, then Chile, then Peru! I’m in Santiago, Chile for two months with a Georgetown study abroad program with Universidad Alberto Hurtado. We’re taking classes customized for our group of 7. The capstone is a summer-long research project. I’ll be evaluating the Chilean government’s sovereign wealth fund from the copper revenues and how it effectively it serves as a macroeconomic stabilizer for a net commodity exporting country.
